There are several ways to promote your business and products thru Mibo. One of the most effective way of doing of promotion is via email. However, you will need message credits to use this feature.

You can promote using email in your Mibo Control Panel > Marketing > Email.
Adding Email Campaign
You can add an email campaign by doing the following:
Click Add on the Email Campaign panel. In the new page, it is divided in to several parts:
Step 1 : Basic Details
The basic details include campaign name and tags. Campaign name is a required field while tags is optional. Tags are the keywords to be used that will help searching your campaign more efficiently. To add tags simply do the following:
→ Input the keyword on the text box.
→ Press enter.
Step 2 : Recipient
Recipient are the people who will receive the email you are creating. There are two ways to add recipients to your email: upload manual list or search from your customers.
Upload manual list
Select Manual List from the dropdown.
Click Download Template. The template has the following fields: name, email and mobile.
Using the template, update the file that will match the recipient details you prefer.
Upload the modified template. There are two ways to upload the template:
Clicking on the panel
In the popup that opens when you click the panel, select the modified template from your computer.Drag and drop images on the panel
Drag the modified template from your computer and drop them on the panel to get them uploaded.
Tips : In case you uploaded the incorrect file, you can drag and drop the correct file on the panel and it will overwrite the existing file.
Search from your customers
Select Search My Customer from the dropdown.
You can either select All Customer to make all your customers a recipient or you can filter your customers from the available filters.
Step 3 : Content
The content of the email is where you can put all the details of your campaign or any content you prefer to send to your recipients.
Creating the content of your email is quite easy and flexible, aside from you have the option to select promotion or voucher that will automatically display the details on your content section, you can also customise the content using a built in editor.
Promotion
Clicking the promotion tab will let you choose from the promotions you created at Mibo Control Panel > Marketing > Promotion. You can include the promotion on the email by doing the following:
Select the promotion you prefer from the dropdown.
After you select the promotion, the subject field will be automatically filled with your <business name> - <name of selected promotion>. However, you still have the option to change the content with your preferred subject. In addition, the image and description of the promotion will be displayed on the content editor.
Optional: Customise and add extra content by using the content editor tools. Just drag and drop the tool on the content panel and change the details.
Coupon
Clicking the Coupon tab will let you choose from the coupons you created at Mibo Control Panel > Marketing > Coupons. You can include the coupon on the email by doing the following:
Select the coupon you prefer from the dropdown.
After you select the coupon, the subject field will be automatically filled with your <business name> - <name of selected coupon>. However, you still have the option to change it with your preferred subject. In addition, the image and description of the coupon will be displayed on the content editor.
Optional: Customise and add extra content by using the content editor tools. Just drag and drop the tool on the content panel and change the details.

Custom
Clicking the custom tab will let you choose from the templates you created on the content editor below. If there are no available template on the dropdown, you can create a template by doing the following:
Add content on the panel by using the content editor tools. Just drag and drop the tool on the content panel and change the details.
Once you are finished with the template, click Save Template on the bottom left corner of the Email Campaign panel.
In the popup that opens, enter the name of the template.
Click Ok to save the template or click Cancel if you do not want yet to save the template.
Review the options from your template dropdown to see if the newly created template has been added.
Select the template you prefer from the dropdown.
Enter the subject.
Tips : Use the content editor to create a good looking and more responsive content for your email. See our article about how to use content editor.
Step 4 : Schedule
Scheduling your email will automatically send your email on your chosen time and date. You can schedule your email by doing the following:
Click Send Date text box.
In the popup calendar that opens, select date and time you want the recipient to receive the email.
Click outside the calendar to apply the date.
Indicate the Number of Email. Number of email is the total number of email to be sent for this campaign.
Step 5
Click Confirm to send the email campaign instantly. To save the email campaign as a draft click Save Draft and if you want to go back to the list of email campaign and disregard the entries you made just click on Back.
Note : The initial status of the confirmed email campaign is Pending Delivery. However, once it has been delivered to the recipients the status will become Delivered.
Updating and Viewing Email Campaign
Updating email campaign are only applicable for campaigns with Draft status. Pending Delivery and Delivered status can only be viewed but can not be updated anymore.
You can update your campaign by doing the following:
Click the campaign name on the Email Campaign panel.
In the new page, update the campaign details.
Click Confirm to send the email campaign instantly. To save the email campaign as a draft click Save Draft and if you want to go back to the list of email campaign and disregard the entries you made just click on Back.
You can view your campaign by doing the following:
Click the campaign name on the Email Campaign panel.
In the new page, the campaign details will be displayed.
Click Download on the recipients panel to download the list of the recipients of the email.
Click on Back to go back to the list of email campaign.
Removing Email Campaign
You are only allowed to remove campaign with Draft and Pending Delivery status. You can simply remove your email campaign by doing the following:
Click on the trash bin icon on the bottom right corner of the campaign you want to remove.
Agree on the confirmation message of deletion by clicking Yes or click No if you want to retain the campaign.
