Mibo is proving small handy POS to fulfill your daily sales at your store which gives you validation that your products and services are valued by your customer. In order to start using Mibo POS, follow the steps below.

Transact your sales by going to Mibo Control Panel > Sales > Mibo POS.

Open POS
When opening your register for the day, you will be informed that the register is closed. You have to indicate the opening float and some notes if you have any.

  • Add your desired cash float on the Opening Float field.

  • Click Open Register.

  • After opening the register, click Select POS on the top right corner of the page to select the POS you prefer to use.

  • Confirm the POS by clicking Ok.


Close POS

Once you have completed all your sales for the day, you will need to close your register. You can do that by the doing the following:

  • Click Close POS on the top right corner of the panel.
    This will take you to the close register page.

  • Enter today's cash(including the opening float) on Cash In Register panel.

We have two types of POS: Table-based POS and Non table-based POS


Table-based POS

This kind of POS are only applicable for stores with table management. Table-based POS has two parts: Orders and Current.

Orders
Orders tab is where you can view the table you created for the store. To manage table:

  • Click the panel of the table you want to manage and it will direct you to Current tab containing the details of the table such as the customer details, products and orders.

Note : Tables that are occupied or in use will have a status of In Progress.    


Current

Current tab is where you can process the customer orders: select member, generate ticket, make payment and manage orders. To process an order do the following:

  • Tick the radio button for Member or Non-member.

For members

There are two ways to search for the member: scan the QR code or enter the mobile number of the member.   

For faster transaction, it is advisable to scan the QR code. 


Scan QR Code
Scan the QR Code and wait for the details to appear on the mobile number section.
 

Enter mobile number

  • Select the country code on the dropdown.

    • Enter the mobile number.

    • Click outside the text box to see the member details below the field.

If the mobile number does not exist, a popup will open and request you to create a new member.

Enter the name and click Ok.

Use the search box or the product tabs to search for the product.

  • Click the ordered products

The product will now be displayed on the order summary on the right panel of the page.

Order summary has the following content and features:

Table number or name which is placed on the top left corner of the panel which is 1 on the screenshot.

Clear action to clear the orders.

Swap action to swap the ordered products to another table.

Remove order which is the trash bin icon placed on the left side of the ordered products.

Number of every ordered product that can be adjusted by changing the number in the text box.

Order ticket to print the orders.

Confirm order to process and proceed with payment. In the new screen that will show when you confirm an order, you have the option to back to select order screenselect or scan for a voucher codereceive a receiptchange the payment type, cancel the order or make payment.

A successful payment will show you a screen like the image below:

The overall computation and total amount will be shown at the bottom section of the order summary panel. 

Non-table-based POS

This kind of POS are only applicable for stores without table management. Non-table-based POS has two parts: Current and Drafts.

Current

Current tab is where you can process the customer orders: select member, generate ticket, make payment and manage orders. To process an order do the following:

  • Tick the radio button for Member or Non-member.

For members

There are two ways to search for the member: scan the QR code or enter the mobile number of the member.   

For faster transaction, it is advisable to scan the QR code.

Drafts

Draft tab is where you can view all the draft or unfinished process of order. Once you have selected a product on the order tab and you haven't confirmed the order yet or make a payment from it, the order details will be stored on draft tab. You can still view the order details and be able to manage it again once the customer decided to proceed with it by clicking View.

If incase the customer does not want to proceed with the order or you want to remove a draft order, you can also have the ability to remove it on the list of drafts by clicking Delete.
